The scene with Hylia crying over Link’s dead body seems pretty touching. She talks about Link being the true master of the Master Sword (pun not intended), and how she admires his love for the land of Hylia, which she shares.

Then she states that his soul will live forever, and will meet again in a new life. Although next time she won’t be a goddess anymore, but a mere mortal.
